Over the past 18 months, I've gone across the district, meeting with farmers and ranchers and fighting policies in Washington that hurt their livelihood. I've also educated my colleagues on why we cannot tax and regulate this industry out of existence. Farmers and ranchers are vital to our state and national economy -- they provide for all of us, as well as countries all over the world.
